Jobsite Labor at Your Saw

Industries have been struggling due to the economic conditions (higher prices) brought on since the pandemic. However, residential construction has not been one of them. Because of current demand, labor shortages have caused completion time for projects to lengthen and increase project costs. Though we all look for the quick fix that changes from job to job, rarely is it sustainable in the long term.
Contractors are attempting a variety of alternatives, such as more use of labor-saving equipment on the job site or implementing new processes to save time and money on the job site in order to make up for fewer workers. Efficiency is more important than ever with many businesses operating on razor-thin margins.

For instance, let's look at one of the common denominators, your saw. If your skilled guy is at the saw all day instead of inside the house using his skills, that's not efficient. However, if the cut guy can be less skilled but more productive, you can keep that skilled guy on the job, thus improving your overall job efficiency and costs.
